本组老照片的拍摄者为英国佩西·赛克斯。英国佩西·赛克斯（Percy Sykes）爵士于1915年4-11月，进入中国新疆考察，拍摄了很多当地的社会生活风貌。
小编收集到数49副作者当时拍摄的照片，这些照片少部分拍摄的当时新疆地区（主要是南疆地区）的城池及景色，大多数拍摄的当时的各族人物，现将这些照片分享出来供大家阅览。
